Booking Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are accepted by you upon payment. Please note it is a 2 night minimum stay and our accommodation is for adults only. Toddlers and children are not catered for. 

Although you are booking the entire house, you must book the correct number of people staying per room. The second queen bedroom will be locked unless there is a request and payment to use the room. 

Check-in and Check-out

Standard check-in is available from 2:00pm on the day of arrival and check-out is 11:00am on the day of your departure. 

With prior arrangement we will do our best to accommodate your preferred check in/out times.

Cleaning/Servicing

Our cottage is self - catering and does not include daily servicing. We supply breakfast provisions for the first 3 mornings of your stay. For stays of 4 nights or longer we will launder and provide fresh towels. 

 

Keys

The house will be unlocked for your arrival and keys will be available inside the house.  Upon check-out, keys are to be left in the same place.  

 

Visitors 

To ensure a tranquil experience we have a no visitor policy unless prior arrangements have been made. If unplanned guests do stay, there will be an additional charge of $100 per person to cover costs. 

Wedding or Bridal Parties

We cannot accommodate traditional wedding parties with bridesmaids or groomsmen. However if it is just you and your future spouse planning to stay we are very happy to welcome you. Our place is perfect to start your life as a married couple and immerse yourselves in a cocoon of happiness. 

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. 

 

Pets

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.        

               

Working Vineyard

Amongst the Vines Deluxe Retreat is situated on the grounds of a working vineyard and you may from time to time hear tractors, harvesters and spraying, especially if you are staying during the Vintage. None of these are intrusive and will not impact on your stay. The bird songs are usually the loudest noise at our property! 

Ours is an organic vineyard and unfortunately we cannot allow guests to walk through the vineyard unsupervised due to the risk of shoes and clothing potentially bringing in contamination and spreading pests and diseases.  

                                                                                          

Injury, Loss and Damage

No responsibility is taken for items left on the premises during your stay or after departure. Amongst the Vines Deluxe Retreat does not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss or additional expenses caused directly or indirectly by events which are beyond our control. 

Breakages or damages not caused by normal wear and tear will be charged to your credit card and an itemised account will be provided to you.

In the event that the property has been damaged, whether such damages are wilful or not, it is the sole discretion of the owner to enter a debit on the supplied credit card details of the guest and the guest hereby authorises Amongst the Vines Deluxe Retreat to do so. Should you soil any linen or towels to the extent that it cannot be used again, the full replacement cost will be charged to your credit card.

 

Smoke Free Home

Amongst the Vines Deluxe Retreat is a smoke free home and we ask that you do not smoke in the house. If you would like to smoke, please do so outside with all the windows and doors closed. An ashtray is provided in the back alfresco and gazebo areas for your cigarette butts. Please do not butt your cigarettes near any part of the house or throw them away as this is a potential fire risk particularly in summer.

A fee of $75 for professional deodorising will be charged if smoking inside the house is evident

 

Total Fire Ban Days and Fire Danger

Amongst the Vines Deluxe Retreat is located in the Mount Lofty Ranges District. Fire Danger Season is from 1st of December until 30th of April and information will be provided if the season is extended. Adherence to fire advice and warnings issued by the SA Country Fire Service (CFS) is necessary with relevant details and information made available to guests.
