Travel Tips

Do I Need A Passport?

When traveling outside Australia, a passport is required for Australian citizens. Some countries require a visa. If you an Australian, detailed visa information will be mailed or faxed to you after you book your holiday.  Non-Australian citizens should consult with appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are required.

What name do I use when making a booking?

Due to increased travel security around the world, it is now more important than ever that your airline ticket matches your first and last name exactly as it reads on your passport. Additionally, any changes to your air booking, which include spelling, could be subject to a change fee, penalties, or cancellation.

When will I receive my travel documents?

Travel documents, including any paper tickets or e-ticket itineraries and other information, are sent approximately two to three weeks prior to departure from Australia, provided full payment has been received.

Can I purchase additional travel when I book my ATV Tour?

Amongst The Vines is a fully accredited, licensed travel agency that can assist you with all of your additional travel requirements, either domestically or abroad.

What size can my suitcase be?

Porterage for one suitcase on tour is included in the tour price. Due to limited coach capacity, we strongly recommend that this single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 76x53x28cm (30"x 21"x 11") and weight not exceeding 22 kg (50 lbs).  Please also note that airline carriers, cruise lines and other forms of transportation may have restrictions and requirements including weight.   Some airlines are also charging fees for additional checked baggage in excess of one per passenger and these fees are not included in the tour package.
